"Shutter Island" este ultima si poate cea mai asteptata productie cinematografica a talentatului regizorMartin Scorsese. Filmul are in distributia sa actori precum Leonardo DiCaprio, cu care Scorsese colaboreaza acum pentru a patra oara, dupa Gangs of New York si The Departed, dar si alte nume consacrate precum Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kinglsey si Michelle Williams.

Coloana sonora se va lansa pe 2 februarie, filmul fiind asteptat sa apara pe ecran la finele lui februarie.

"Shutter Island" este o adaptare pentru marele ecran a romanului omonim al lui Denis Lehane, ale carui scrieri au mai fost ecranizate de Clint Eastwood (Mystic River) si de catre Ben Affleck (Gone Baby Gone).

Soundtrack-ul este cu adevarat spectaculos avand in vedere ca este unul dintre numeroasele colaborari de succes dintre Scorsese si Robertson( Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, The Color of  Money, Casino si Departed), acesta din urma declarand ca muzica a fost selectata de el insusi.

"Aceasta compilatie este una dintre cele mai frumoase si scandaloase coloane sonore auzite de mine", declara Robertson.

Compilatia cuprinde interpretari ale Orchestrei Simfonice din San Francisco, Orchestrei Radio din Viena, dar si prestatiile unor artisti cu adevarat apreciati, Johnnie Ray si Lonnie Johnson.
