Noul single R.E.M "Supernatural Superserious" a fost lansat online si poate fi ascultat in intregime acum. Piesa este primul extras pe single de pe urmatorul album R.E.M. numit "Accelerate".

"Accelerate" urmeaza albumului lansat in 2004 "Around The Sun", contine 11 piese, va fi lansat pe 31 martie si a fost produs de Jacknife Lee.

O alta melodie, "I'm Gonna DJ" a fost inregistrata o data cu piesele pentru "Around The Sun", dar nu a fost inclusa pe acel album ci abia pe "Accelarate". In orice caz, a fost interpretata cu regularitate in concertele trupei din turneul sustinut de R.E.M. in 2004/2005.
